SCULPTURES IN PLASTER
For over 30 years, plaster figures have been created that combine organic forms with surrealist elements. Significantly influenced by Jean Arp's biomorphic sculptures and Yves Tanguy's surreal landscapes, natural forms merge with dreamlike alterations.
Plaster as a material enables the precise elaboration of flowing details. Arp's abstracted natural forms and Tanguy's pictorial worlds, in which reality and fantasy merge, have a lasting influence on the work and inspire the creation of surreal landscapes.
